Challenges with Porto Theme & Business Consulting 3 Template

So I’m using this template on my site at barryhynd.co.uk

It’s been going quite well and I’ve been able to get help from the forums already. I’ve run into a few more problems though which I’ve noted below.

On the home page I tried to replace the wording on the H2 styled font but it’s chopped off the bottom of the words from “It’s Fractional”. I have no idea how this has happened!

Also on the home page a bit further down there’s a section called What We Do > Our Premium Services. Underneath this is a small piece of lorum ipsum text but I’m really struggling to work out what template this sits on to allow me to edit it. It appear like there are lots of templates I struggle to understand.

I’ve been working through the FAQ set up and my preference would be to have FAQ’s on each service page that are relevant to that service only. This has really confused me and I can’t work out fully how to implement this. Different service pages have different faq’s and I’m not sure how I have achieved that. Also the styling of some of the FAQ’s with the date underneath feels messy and I can fix this.

One final thing is that I’ve been trying to create specific privacy and terms and conditions pages. When I’ve done this it’s broken the site and they end up on every page. Could I get some clear instructions as to how to create a page using these builders. It seems very confusing to have both a Porto Builder and Elementor and if anything it just feels messy. I’m not entirely sure what takes priority when.

Hi Aizaz,

Thank you for your help sorting issue 1.

Regarding issue 2. The image you attached suggests that this area around the purple square is editable. I’m not able to edit this as you have shown. There are two areas on the homepage that have Lorem Ipsum that do not appear to be editable.

Issue 3 – These relates to the service pages one example is here https://barryhynd.co.uk/service/fractional-integrator/. I was trying to keep the FAQ’s unique to each service page so that they are contextually correct. If you look at each service page the experience is different which is confusing. Also the date below the FAQ makes it look messy!

I also mentioned that when I create a new page it doesn’t appear to be doing this correctly. I don’t understand why I can’t simply create a standalone page that just needs text in it.

Could you please try to change it again?

3. Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single >> and edit the single service template: https://postimg.cc/4mGGtVTw
When you edit it, you will find the heading element set and the content of the heading has been set as dynamically for the post and it shows the post content: https://postimg.cc/HV8SpPNh and the seconds Faqs on that page has been created using Porto FAQs element: https://postimg.cc/yJLhhF5R

So you can delete one element from there as per your requirements.

And the date has been removed from that faq on your site please check back again after clearing the cache.
