There’s no need to worry. To successfully update the theme, please follow these steps carefully:
Start by taking a complete backup of your site.
Activate the parent theme on your site.
Disable all third-party plugins, including the Porto Functionality plugin.
Update the theme by following the instructions in this article: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/update-theme/
Update the necessary theme plugins from Appearance >> Install Plugins.
Clear your browser cache and check your site.
Reactivate the third-party plugins one by one.
If desired, reactivate the child theme. You’re good to go. I hope this helps!
Best Regards,
PThemes Team. -
