Specific filter per category

Hi all,

I tried to create a topic but it seems it hasn’t pass the moderation yet, so I will start a new one (please delete it if it appears as duplicated content).

I would like to know if it is possible to have dedicated product filters per product category ?

Let me explain with an example from your demo shop 49 :
On Pillows & Decor category (https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop49/product-category/pillows-decor/) you have the following filters : category, price, color, sizes, brands.
On Lighting category (https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop49/product-category/lighting/) you have the exactly same filters : category, price, color, sizes, brands.

So my question is : is it possible to have a filter that will only appear on the product category “Lighting” like “installation” with the values “hanging” or “floor-mounted” (whatever the values actually).

Hello, @mariom,

Unfortunately, this is not possible.

The sidebar is configured under Appearance >> Widgets >> Shop Sidebar, and it functions as the global sidebar, appearing across all Shop and Category pages. It cannot be set individually for different category pages.

You might want to explore third-party plugins that could better meet your needs.
