Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with my theme while using IONOS hosting. Their WPScan detected a high vulnerability (CVSS score: 9.8) in the Porto Theme – Functionality.
However, when I try to update the theme, the update fails every time.
Could you please advise me on what to do?
Thanks!

Please navigate to Porto >> Theme License and unregister the theme license from there, then re-register the theme with the same purchase code again, after that navigate to Appearance >> Themes and make sure to update the theme first, after that try to update the plugins from Appearance >> Install plugins one by one and finally check back again.
Best Regards,
PThemes Team.February 4, 2025 at 1:32 pm #26457Hello,
There is no option to update the theme under Appearance > Themes.
I have deactivated the theme license and then reactivated it, but this did not allow me to update Porto Functionality—the update always fails.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Thanks!

February 6, 2025 at 7:05 am #26561Hello, @shadi94,
I just checked your site and confirmed that the Porto Functionality version you’re using is already up to date, so there’s no need to be concerned. It seems the plugin scanning your site might be experiencing an issue. I recommend either ignoring the warning or reaching out to the plugin author to ask which specific part of the plugin file has the vulnerability, so we can investigate further.
We’ve thoroughly tested our entire theme and haven’t found any issues.
Best Regards,
