Hello, @everyone,
By default, the page’s entry title tag is set to “h2,” and if you wish to make adjustments, please follow the steps outlined below:
Install the File Manager Plugin:
1- Navigate to Dashboard >> Plugins >> Add New.
2- Search for “File Manager” and install the plugin.
3- Activate the plugin after installation.
Ensure the PORTO Child Theme is installed:
1- Confirm that the PORTO Child theme is installed and activated.
2- You can find this option in Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Child Theme.
Open File Manager and Copy “page.php” to Child Theme:
1- Launch the File Manager plugin.
2- Navigate to the main parent theme directory and copy the file “page.php.”
3- Paste the copied file into the child theme directory.
Edit “page.php” in Child Theme:
1- Open the copied “page.php” file in the child theme.
2- Locate the “h2” tag and replace it with the desired tag (e.g., “h1,” “span,” “p,” or “div”).
Save Changes and Close File Manager:
1- Save the edited file.
2- Close the File Manager plugin.
Clear Browser Cache and Check Site:
1- Clear your browser cache.
2- Visit your site to see the changes reflected.
Important Note:
Before implementing any changes, ensure you have a complete backup of your site for precautionary measures.
And you can do the same by using Cpanel as well instead of using the File Manager plugin.
