I just recently installed the Porto theme on my new under construction website. I’ve never used a theme that is this advanced. I installed the Store 47 demo site. Then I did a migration of categories, products, orders, customers, etc from our current site to this new site using Next-Cart. The migration wiped all the demo products and replaced with our stuff. Now, I’m trying to use the Theme Builder to begin editing the site. I started with the header and it seems like something is not right. The visual editor is just a bunch of text instead of what should be blocks (see attached photo).

Second, I’m trying to replace the cart icon with a custom icon I designed in Adobe Illustrator. I tried to replace it in Theme Options > Header > WooCommerce > Mini Cart but there is no option to add your own image. Any chance that’s possible?

I am also trying to use another plugin with my site called WPXtension Product Variations Table and it’s supposed to add a button that says Available Variations where there would normally be a dropdown menu with Variations but that button is not showing up. Nothing has changed. The variation dropdown is still there. I think it’s something to do with a Theme conflict? Here is a demo of what the plugin should look like: http://demo.wpxtension.com/product-variation-table-for-woocommerce/product/only-variation-table/

Finally, I wanted to ask about WPBakery and Slider Revolution. These are supposed to be included with the purchase of Porto right? They are both currently asking for license keys. Is that something you need to send us seperately after the theme purchase?

Thanks for any help you could provide concerning the above issues!

            Hello, @mrv63,

            1. To solve your issue, please read and follow the instructions written in our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/unable-to-edit-template-builder-using-wp-bakery-or-elementor/

            2. Well, you are actually using the Custom Header on your site created with Header Builder, and that is the reason most of the Theme Options are not affecting the header on your site.

First of all, please note that you can only change the cart icon with the FontAwesome Icon, not with the Custom Icon.

You can find all the icons here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shortcodes/icons/

To change the cart icon, please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header and edit the Custom Header from there, after that, please edit the mini cart element, and change/add/insert the Custom Class of the icon into it, please refer to these screenshots: https://pasteboard.co/nWIDDsb4Yp7u.png & https://pasteboard.co/UCqUVU7Izgsh.png & https://pasteboard.co/tjHUjHC7itlG.png

            3. The issue was the conflict of the plugin with our theme core feature product builder, I simply removed the condition of the Custom layout of the single product builder and then the default layout was applied, now that button is showing and working fine on your site, please refer to this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HsW4eh86PJEo.png

            4. You will consistently receive the latest Premium plugin updates through the Theme update within the Theme Package. There’s no requirement to activate or purchase a new license for these plugins, as they’re already included and licensed by P-Themes within the theme package. This activation message is for those who prefer to update the plugin directly from their website. However, in our case, the updated plugin is always included with the theme update release, eliminating the need for activation.

Therefore, there’s no need to activate it separately. It’s important to note that you cannot utilize the library/template of any Premium plugin included in a Theme Package unless you separately purchase the license for that particular plugin. This policy aligns with Envato’s guidelines, and it’s advisable to verify this with them directly.

            Best Regards,
            PThemes Team.
