There has been a critical error on this website

I have had the error reported by J.C. Han on a couple of occasions now trying to update to 7.2.4 from 7.1.17. I cloned the server and switched our license over to do the update, and the server is now unusable. I have currently left the server in a failed state for your investigation.
The error occurs whether I update all plug-ins first or as in this case, Porto first. The site works fine so if there is a clash between plugins it does not occur until the theme is updated.

Given that wordpress is not currently functioning, can you advise as to how you wish to log in to diagnose this and I’ll put appropriate details in, and whether you require the server regressing to a working state beforehand.
The server is hosted on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, runs wordpress 6.6.2 on PHP8.1 via Caddy
