When I create a new product I’m able to enter a description, but as soon as I click “Edit With Elementor” the description box disappears and I can no longer edit or input a description. The short description remains but not the main one I need.

I have logged in to your site and checked the settings, I found you are using multiple custom templates for your products, the one named “Installation Service” also there: https://ottawahousesigns.ca/wp-admin/post.php?post=1795&action=elementor
When I edited the “Installation Service” custom template with the Elementor page builder, I found that you did not use the element for the product description, so I added that element on the page: https://postimg.cc/dLdCpTtQ and save the changes.
After that, I went to the products and edited the particular product, now the section is there to add the elements and content to your product as a description as per your requirements: https://ottawahousesigns.ca/wp-admin/post.php?post=1615&action=elementor

PThemes Team.February 7, 2025 at 10:04 pm #26632Hi Aizaz, appreciate your help. I see what the problem is now with the description and was able to get it working. I thought that description widget was locked with elementor PRO so I didn’t use it and was looking everywhere else lol.
Maybe one other issue you can help me with that I’m struggling to understand. When I edit a single product template, for some reason it always loads in data from the most recent product I’ve created. Currently that is Luxury Woodcraft:

I thought it would load data from the product I connected to the template:
Everything works when I preview the product page, or visit it on the website. The data associates correctly, but just in the template area things seem weird. Not sure if its working as intended.

You are right, it picks the latest product when editing the template builder, and this is the default functionality, you can not change it, it does not have any option for it, you can request it as a feature request for the future upcoming updates of the theme.
