Hello,
How can we get the whole word to act as the menu button and display the sub-items instead of just the arrow icon on the vertical menu?Best,

Any way to keep the sub-menu items open after clicking an item so we have a visual hierarchy of where we are in the navigation (see attached wanted.png vs current.png)

May 18, 2024 at 8:37 am #7127Hello, @bold-promo,
Thanks for sharing the password. I’ve checked the site, but unfortunately, there isn’t a setting or option in the theme for this at the moment. Implementing these changes would require additional customization, which falls outside our basic support policy.
Thanks for your understanding.

PThemes Team.May 27, 2024 at 10:38 am #7352Hey Sylvan,
Great question! If you want the whole word to act as the menu button and show the sub-items instead of just the arrow icon on the vertical menu, here’s what you can do:
Go to your Dashboard.
Click on “Porto.”
Look for “Theme options” and click on it.
Find “Skins.”
Select “Custom CSS.”
Now, paste the code provided at the bottom of the black box.
Save your settings.
Remember to clear your browser cache and then check your website to see the changes. As for keeping the sub-menu items open after clicking an item for a visual hierarchy, unfortunately, it seems that your theme doesn’t support this feature out of the box. It would need some extra customization work, which isn’t covered by the basic support.
Hope this helps!
May 27, 2024 at 12:24 pm #7355Hello, @tahaseo,
If you want to open the sub-menu items in the mobile menu by clicking on the parent menu item, you can use the CSS code shared earlier in this topic. However, if you prefer to have the sub-menu items displayed by default when the mobile menu opens, additional customization is required. For this, please contact our customization team. I hope this explanation clarifies both scenarios.
Best Regards,
