Tagged: dynamic content
Hi – I’ve created some post grid types for use on a site using dynamic content that will link to the posts that are called by the grid’s parameters.
Only thing is – the only clickable links to the post are the post title and the “read more” button/link.
My client would like the entire content box to be clickable for better usability. In this example, I’ve used a Porto Section to encompass the contents of the post type grid template so I could apply a box-shadow element to it. The dynamic elements in the grid include a cover block with the post’s featured image, the post title, category, and excerpt. It displays like the attached image. Is there a way I can set the entire section to the dynamic permalink so they can click anywhere on this content card? And if not using this approach, is there another approach to create something like this?
Thanks!
Hello, @sarah-5068,
Thank you for your message and for providing me with the information regarding the “Posts Grid” and the dynamic content in the widget settings.
I understand that you would like to set the link on the entire content or on the post’s image as well. In order to do so, you will need to edit the “Post Layout” block in the Template Builder. From there, you can enable the link and set it according to your requirements.
Please refer to the attached images for a better understanding of the process.
