Hi, I installed Porto with the Classic Original template and I am adjusting the content. I selected Elementor when I installed the demo. (I think I had to choose between Elementor and WPbakery)
It’s been a while since I used WP and especially Elementor but Im getting there. But I have no clue how to get elements like lists, blockquotes etc. into a page. So the example you have on this page:
How can I add them to a page. Within Elementor I cannot find it. Do I need to install WPBakery for this? Can I still do that since I’m already finishing the website.
Thanks for your help in advance.

You’re correct—the “blockquote” element is only available with WP Bakery and is not currently included in Elementor. However, you can submit it as a feature request on our forum for consideration in future theme updates.

But can I now still install WPBakery on my already running website with Porto (and ELementor installed) to get access to the elements? ODecember 12, 2024 at 4:56 am #24685Hello, @fynnbruil,
Yes, it is possible, but we generally do not recommend using multiple page builders on the same site. This is because they can sometimes conflict with each other. For example, if you create a page with WP Bakery and then edit it with Elementor, it may break the entire page, and there will be no way to recover it unless you have a backup. Alternatively, you can create a new page and use the builder of your choice (WP Bakery or Elementor) on that page only.
As always, please make sure to take a full backup of your site before proceeding.

PThemes Team.December 12, 2024 at 12:22 pm #24701Hi Aizaz,
Than I will not do that. Last thing I want is to have the risk of breaking my website.
It is what it is… but I have to say I am disappointed. I choose this template based on the elements that were available on the live demo: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/vc/classic-original/ .
Now it turns out that some of the demo pages are made with Elementor and some with wpBakery. This is very confusing and not well communicated. I wanted to show the lists, blockquotes and other elements like shown in the demo but that is not possible. I would urge you guys to make this more clear, or make demo’s based on 1 builder.
Also it turns out my forms are not loading in the forms widget. But I will make a seperate topic about that one.
December 13, 2024 at 5:30 am #24747Hello, @fynnbruil,
Thank you for sharing your concerns, and I truly apologize for the confusion and disappointment this has caused. I completely understand your frustration.
We are constantly working on improving our templates and communication. In the future, we will make sure to provide more clarity regarding the page builders used in the demos and ensure consistency across all elements. We appreciate your feedback and will definitely take it into account when updating our templates, so that we can offer a better experience moving forward.
Regarding the forms issue, feel free to share any details in a separate topic, and we’ll do our best to resolve that for you as well.
Thank you for your understanding and patience!
Best regards,
