We have several porto installations on different servers and different hosts that output HTML entities in the HTML structure since the last update (porto 6.11.1 + WPbakery 7.1).
This leads to significant display errors, especially in Firefox.
Is this error caused by WPbakery / VisualComposer or by the theme itself? When will there be a bug fix for this?

PThemes Team.October 27, 2023 at 1:14 pm #3191Hello Mr. Awan,
thanks in advance! You are right, it makes sense to start with the original problem. We have noticed that the ‘Media Grid’ in the page builder is producing some errors. On the page in question, text disappears behind images (Firefox) as seen in the screenshot. The source code shows that the page builder does not convert special characters correctly and outputs them as HTML entities. A ” becomes a ‘"’ (see screenshot). The error could not be corrected even with deactivated plugins (except wpbakery). Since the entity error also occurred in another context on a development site with another porto, we concluded that there is a connection there. You’ll find access to the page in question in the private area.
Best Regards :)
