Hi,
I wanted to adapt the hover link color in the footer section. However when I go to the Porto settings->Footer->Footer Styling and set this option, it doesn’t have any effect:Link Color
Controls normal and hover color of hyperlink in the footer main section. Is there another setting that I need to change?
March 18, 2024 at 2:25 pm #5252Hello, @anna_falc,
In our theme, the footer is generated by the builder. To customize it, please follow these steps: Navigate to Dashboard >> Porto >> Template Builder >> Footer >> https://postimg.cc/JDvctdyq. From there, edit the footer block using your preferred page builder and adjust the styling/colors according to your requirements. This should resolve your issue. If not, please ensure to take a complete backup of your site before proceeding. Then, share your site’s wp-admin URL and access details with us privately in the content area of this topic, and I will investigate further.

PThemes Team.March 21, 2024 at 2:29 pm #5304I was there already but couldn’t find any option for changing the color of the link when hoovering over it. Can you share the next screenshot on where exactly to adapt that in the footer? I have attached you a screenshot. For instance the title I could upate and change but not the link color.

Attached another screenshot where also just partially the button can be changed (e.g. text color, background color) however not the border color.

March 23, 2024 at 10:38 am #5364Hello, @anna_falc,
Thanks for sharing the access with us here, First of all, The footer on your site is coming from the Template builder see this https://postimg.cc/mPRb399x
You can edit the footer content and its styling by editing it with Elementor. The content of the footer that you want to change its hover color will not be possible because you added it via custom HTML https://postimg.cc/QKqZM4df while Elementor provides widgets for this.
You can use the List widget of Elementor https://postimg.cc/47fdZSZx Please try to use a proper widget so that you will have the option in widget settings to customize the style as per your need.
Lastly, the button the thing is it is a form submit button that you can customize from the form widget settings see this screenshot to understand better https://postimg.cc/1nsHSsfV

PThemes Team.March 26, 2024 at 10:15 am #5837Did as you suggested with the links and used the Elementor list widget. Adapted the hover color to red. In the preview it appears like this but on the page it seems to be overwritten by something. Please also see screenshot.
On the button color, also no news. My question was where to change the border color. In your screenshot I can also just see the border type (which is default) in my case. However that doesn’t explain where to change to border color from currently green to red. Or maybe I confused something and you pointed to another setting?

1- This is how the preview looks for me: https://postimg.cc/FYTVXvP3 . You can also view the live results here: https://postimg.cc/5Hv5Yz4q. Both appear identical without any issues. Please revisit your site after clearing your browser cache.
2- To set the button border color, simply select the border type, and the color option will appear as shown in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/DJ9PvBdQ

PThemes Team.March 27, 2024 at 12:18 pm #5875Hi Aizaz,
first point works, many thanks. Was still cached and didn’t show up properly. My bad!Second topic with the buttons. I tried your suggestion and chose solid border and edited the border color when hovering over it to red. However it still shows me a green line. It’s not super important, so if you have a quick fix please let me know, if not it can stay like this. I attached another screenshot for you on how it looks on my side.
