Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access in the private content area of this topic, we need to check the situation on your site more deeply. To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with an administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption), please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

PThemes Team.November 11, 2023 at 9:06 am in reply to: Show date modified in blog 5 grid listing instead of post-date #3420Hello, @rickvanleeuwen-com,
Thank you for providing the screenshot to help clarify the issue. After a thorough review of the theme and widget settings, it appears that there is no built-in option to alter this behavior. By default, the published date is set to be displayed. You can control the display of the date by accessing the theme settings and navigating to “Posts.” This will allow you to configure the appearance according to your preferences.
Please be aware that making further adjustments beyond these standard settings would necessitate additional customization. Regrettably, such customizations fall outside the scope of our support policy. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you have any other questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
Sorry to say, that there is no option in the theme to control the sidebar widget except custom CSS code. but for the product layouts, you can simply edit the layout and set the product columns for a better presentation of the layout. Please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/zLzqxsqS I hope by following this guidance your issue will be resolved.
Have a nice day.

PThemes Team.Hello, @sebastianlaureiro,
Thanks for reaching us, I hope you are having a good day.
1- Please use the Loco Translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> Porto >> Edit the translation that you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation that you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Porto -functionality >> Edit the translation that you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Note:
1. Custom (recommended)
2. This is Loco’s protected folder under “wp-content/languages/loco/” which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations. If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.

If the issue still exists then please send me the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and solve the issue for you.
2- Regarding the footer the thing is there are two ways to set the footer in our theme.
A- Using theme settings. If the footer on your site is coming from the Appearance >> Widgets >> From the Footer widgets then you can change the footer background color from the theme settings >> footer >> footer staying as you can see in this image: https://postimg.cc/tZzK7yYZ
B- If the footer is created custom on your site. Then to change the footer background color you have to navigate to the Porto >> Template Builder >> find the footer block and simply edit it with the page builder you are using on your site once the editor loads you can simply change the color as per your need.

PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
Thanks for the access I have checked your issue on your site. Let me explain.
I have found that the shop page on your site is created custom using a custom layout that you created in Elementor. In this layout, you have used a filter widget and this filter widget works like this as it does now on the site. I have checked and confirmed that no option in the filter widget settings can help to achieve the way you want.
Now, to solve this issue you have to set the shop page layout with a sidebar. You can set this by navigating to the Dashboard >> Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product archive >> From there you can set the shop page layout with a sidebar. After that go to the Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets >> In the “Woo Category Sidebar” simply add the filter widgets as per your need. Then check back to your issue by clearing the browser cache. I hope you will get the desired results. I have attached some screenshots below for you to understand better.https://postimg.cc/w3hRBrqX

PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
First of all, Thanks for your understanding. Now regarding the category issue that you asked let me answer it.
Settings a category page into the menu is quite easy. Go to the Dashboard >> Appearance>> Menus >> From there add the category you want into the menu item then save settings. By doing this whenever someone clicks on the category menu item it will redirect the user to that specific category page.
Please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/4m1xnFf6
And then the shop sidebar having all the filters set will be displayed on that product category page as well.
Best Regards,
PThemes Team.Hello, @bruce,
I regret to inform you that the options I presented in my previous message are the only ones available in the theme. Regrettably, there are no additional features or options to discuss. I trust you understand the limitations of the theme.

PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
Certainly, the Porto Product categories widget is also accessible within Elementor. I encourage you to give it a try, as it may effectively address your concerns.
If you require any further guidance or have additional questions, please feel free to reach out for assistance.
Best Regards,
PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
Certainly, you have the capability to create a page within the Porto theme that displays categories exclusively. When a user clicks on a specific category, it will direct them to a dedicated category page, featuring only products relevant to that category.
To accomplish this, you can follow these steps:
Create a new page within your Porto theme.
Incorporate the Porto Product Categories widget into this page.
For more detailed information on how to utilize the Porto Product Categories widget, please refer to the following link:

PThemes Team.Hello, @bruce,
Thank you for providing your feedback. I appreciate your concerns and would like to offer some guidance.
In the theme settings, you have the ability to customize the padding for various elements, including the header, breadcrumbs, and footer.
To adjust the padding for the header, please follow these steps: Navigate to the Dashboard, then go to Porto, followed by Theme Options. From there, select Header and proceed to Styling. Here, you can fine-tune the header padding both from the top and the bottom to suit your preferences.
For the breadcrumbs, you can modify the padding by accessing the theme settings. Navigate to Breadcrumbs, then select Styling. Here, you can make the necessary adjustments to the padding as per your requirements.
To address the padding for the footer, please go to Porto, then Theme Settings, and finally, Footer. Under Styling, you can set the footer padding to your desired specifications.
I have included below some screenshots for your reference to ensure a clearer understanding. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

PThemes Team.Hello, @stianand,
We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. It’s important to note that our filter and pagination functionality is designed to operate exclusively on the default archive pages for both products and categories. These features will not function as expected on non-default archive pages. Implementing the necessary changes for these pages would entail customization, which falls outside the scope of our standard support policy.
If you require enhanced functionality for non-default archive pages, we recommend exploring third-party plugins available in the WordPress marketplace. However, please be aware that using such plugins comes with its own set of risks, which you should evaluate before proceeding.
Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to support you to the best of our abilities.
Best Regards,
PThemes Team. -
