How to Use Porto Archive Builder

  1. Enable the Builder
    In your WordPress dashboard, go to Porto → Template Builder and click Add New Template.
  2. Select Template Type
    Choose Archive as the template type.
  3. Select Page Builder
    The page will automatically open in the installed page builder (Elementor or WPBakery).
    If both are installed, you can switch manually between them, but using one is recommended for better performance.
  4. Import or Build a Layout

    When the editor opens, a Porto Studio popup will appear.

    • Import a prebuilt archive layout, or
    • Close the popup and design the layout manually
  5. Add Archive Elements

    Use Porto’s dedicated archive widgets such as Porto Archive Builder

  6. Set Display Conditions
    Under Template Settings, choose where this layout should appear (e.g., all archives, specific post types, or selected categories, tags or authors).
  7. Preview and Test
    Publish the template, clear caches, and visit your archive pages to verify the layout.
