Rollback Version

Rollback Version

The Rollback Version feature in Porto allows you to safely revert to a previous theme or plugin version if you encounter issues after an update. This is especially useful when a recent update causes conflicts, layout problems, or unexpected functionality errors on your site.

By selecting an earlier version, you can quickly restore stability while investigating or waiting for a fixed release.

How To Use the Rollback Version Feature

  1. Navigate to Porto > Version Control in your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. From the dropdown menu, choose the version of Porto (theme or plugin) that you want to revert to.
  3. Click the Rollback button. The process may take a few minutes to complete, depending on your server and internet speed.
  4. Once finished, the selected version will replace the current one, and your site will return to that previous state.
