How to Use Porto Single Builder
- Access the Builder
Navigate to Porto → Template Builder in your WordPress dashboard and click Add New Template.
- Choose Template Type
Select Single as the template type.
- Select Page Builder
Porto automatically opens the active page builder between Elementor and WPBakery Page Builder
Using both builders simultaneously is not recommended for performance and stability reasons.
- Import or Build a Layout
When the editor opens, the Porto Studio popup appears:
- Import a predesigned single template, or
- Close the popup to build a custom layout from scratch
- Add Dynamic Content Elements
Insert Porto’s dynamic elements such as Post title, Featured image, Content, Meta information (author, date, categories, tags), Custom fields and taxonomies. Each element can be styled and positioned freely.
- Assign the Template
In Template Settings, define where the layout applies:
- All posts
- Specific post types
- Categories or taxonomies
- Individual posts
