After creating or importing a popup, you can easily do assigning popup where and how it should appear on your website. Porto provides flexible options to control popup visibility and behavior using Display Conditions and the Porto Modal Dialog Box element.
1. Display Conditions
You can configure your popup to appear on specific pages, posts, or custom post types by setting Display Conditions.
This allows you to precisely target where the popup should be shown — for example, on the homepage, product pages, blog posts, or even custom templates.
How to set display conditions:
- Open the popup you want to assign.
- In the popup settings panel, locate the Display Conditions section.
- Choose where you want the popup to appear — globally, on selected pages, or on specific categories.
- Save your changes.
This method is ideal when you want the popup to load automatically on certain pages.
2. Using Porto Modal Dialog Box
In addition to display conditions, you can show a popup manually using the Porto Modal Dialog Box element.
- Add a Porto Modal Dialog Box element to your page using the Porto Studio or page builder.
- In the dialog box settings, find the Content Area option.
- Insert the popup shortcode as the dialog’s content.
- Customize trigger actions, such as a button click or hover, to open the popup.
This method is useful when you want the popup to open through user interaction rather than automatically.
