Registering the theme is essential to unlock all premium features and ensure smooth performance.
Why Registration Is Important
Without registering your purchase code, you will not be able to:
- Receive automatic theme and plugin updates
- Install demo content or starter sites
- Import Studio Blocks and other premium assets
License and Usage Terms
According to Envato’s licensing policy, a single purchase code can be used for one live (production) website only.
However, Porto provides flexibility for developers and agencies by allowing the same purchase code to be used on up to five staging sites for testing or development purposes.
- Staging sites must not be publicly accessible.
- Access should be restricted via a “Coming Soon” plugin or
.htaccessauthentication.- No additional license is required for staging sites as long as they are used only for development or testing.
