The Scroll Parallax Effect in Porto adds smooth, scroll-driven motion to layout elements, enhancing visual depth and engagement as users move through the page.
This effect can be applied to Rows and Sections in WPBakery, and Sections, Columns, and Containers in Elementor.

How to Enable Scroll Parallax Effect

  1. Edit a page using Elementor or WPBakery
  2. Select a supported layout element
  3. Open the Porto Addons or Porto Options tab
  4. Enable Scroll Parallax Effect
  5. Configure the available options
  6. Save and update the page

Scroll Parallax Options

Option Description
Start Width (%) Sets the start width (percentage) of current element when the parallax effect becomes active

Usage Tips

  • Use parallax sparingly for best performance
  • Ideal for hero sections and full-width layouts
  • Avoid stacking multiple parallax elements in the same viewport
  • Test responsiveness when adjusting Start Width
